Played percussion with famed Jamaican artists “Sly & Robbie” , Grace Jones and Chrissie Hynde

DESI AWARDS:     

Band Leader, Conductor and Arranger for this syndicated televised awards show which included a guest

performance by “El Rey” Tito Puente (RIP). Also composed & arranged original music.

Arranged and orchestrated the strings & horns for the revised theme song.


MIXED BLOOD:

Scored original “Salsa “ music for film directed by Paul Morrissey.


SPIKE OF BENSONHURST:

Scored, arranged and composed original Italian and Latin music for film directed by Paul Morrissey.


ABC AFTER SCHOOL TV SPECIAL:

Scored “R&B” and “New Wave & Roll” music. Two audio clips provided.

Midsummer Night Swing @ Lincoln Center:

Presented an evening of Latin, Swing and Disco music with guest artists

Cory Daye (Savannah Band), Joe Bataan and N’Dea Davenport (Brand New Heavies).


Latin Connection Concert presented by BAM & Black Rock Coalition:

Musical Director for the Latin Soul themed show.

Featured artist include Nona Hendryx, Joe Bataan, Vernon Reid, Sandra St. Victor,

Ray Chew, Cory Daye, Eddie Martinez, Melvin Gibbs and Carl Hancock Rux.

























Coati Mundi Band:

Performed with my own ensemble at various venues including

Brooklyn Museum Of Arts, Joe’s Pub, Tramps, Mercury Lounge, BAM Café and Don Hills.


Kid Creole and The Coconuts:

Toured  all over the world performing for the public and royalty alike.

A highlight included a performance for the late Princess Lady Diana of England.


Dr.Buzzard’s Original Savannah Band :

Performed various concerts in the USA including a tour opening up for the Village People.
